WANTED Part Wanted: Front Shock Top Mount 124-320-04-73

Bump,

I saw on another thread a set of R129 oem for sale on eBay (only one available) (no affiliation)

Not sure if it works in the w124?

In other news; I found shock mounts from Mayle and Lemforder on Pelican Parts (no affiliation)

Wondering which one I should order? Also wonder how difficult it’d be to change the hardware for something longer so that I can thread the bolts properly due to the shock tower bar I installed.. 🤔

Cool! @chicky... hope you can snag this.

It will bolt up, but I'm not convinced there is any advantage to using the R129 mount on a 124.

I'd go with Lemforder any day over Meyle. The bolt question has come up in the past, in theory you could try to find carriage bolts that are longer, but plan on this being a challenge - especially if you want quality hardware.

Hi Erick :)

Thank you for the link above (y)... I checked it out and I'm still "sitting on the fence if I'd buy it  ... it will come out to about US$175 + shipping US$25 (from Calif to Calif)

I wonder how much was the last listed price for this part from MB Classic Center or any MB dealer?

Best regards
