Hey all, here are some pictures I took from Saturday.
It looks like you guys had a great turnout. Congrats on putting this meet together.
I would love to know more about this black 500E, specifically what are the specs on the 17" AMG 3pc wheels and tires?
Same questions about this beauty - is the owner an active poster here and if so can you please confirm the wheel and tire specs?
I know they are 18" W210 E55 Monoblocks but what size tires are you using? Were spacers added? The wheels look more flush than E55 Monoblocks typically do.
What combo of suspension parts and spring pads were used to achieve this nice ride height?
Thanks![]()
That Tangers (Mels) car, I know it well it was my 1st E500.
He runing spacers, #1 pads, he can give you more details
Thats my car, wheels are rare staggared 18" 3 pcs imported from Japan
Getting the stance right is key
I'm forgetting the tire sizes at the moment, but stock susp w #1 pads all around. Spacers are probably what is making the look, they are 15mm all the way around.
I see a few new potential site banner photos in the mix......
We closed the place down ... had to leave the patio to the parking lot by the outside gate, not through the restaurant...three or four 500Es were the last cars in Mortons' parking lotThis one would be great for that
That's Hi-Power's (Ernesto's) car. Formerly the car known as the "Dr.No car." Hi-Power will have to comment on his wheels though. Perhaps check his OWNER thread?Any idea what wheels are on the car that has license plate 500E BNZ from California? They look sharp.
Glen, is that your car with 583k on the clock?
You rock High Mileage King!
BTW, did Dr. P show up for any of this?

Sorry Ernesto,
I like his wheels but for me it is stll the Operas.
Take Care
Those are OZ Opera IIs. They are a 2 piece forged wheel with titanium fasteners. I believe Ernestos are 9.5 and 8.5. I'm refinishing a set for my own car. No longer available and quite hard to find.

Lovely.
How many 036´s all together?
Any videos??
It was a real treat talking with Dr.P at the Gathering. What a character and wonderful guy full of great stories about life in Germany and the US (Dr.P is German).
Meeting and getting to spend some time with guys like Dr.P, KarlC, Maui, TerryA, Hi-Power, 600Eric and Emaq was a definite highlight for me of the trip !
