poor Hammer not running right

fast foward to 6:10 and youll see a Hammer not putting the HP's down and a few other cars launching as well

That guy didn’t actually mash the peddle to the floor. It’s like he just took off driving a 230D or similar. INOP a very unenthusiastic driving performance. It should have done a lot better. Maybe it’s geared for top end speed which could explain the sluggish acceleration.

I think he did floor it... and the engine is simply NOT making normal power. That, or someone stole the DOHC engine and swapped in a USA-spec 5.6 motor with 238hp.

Terry, even when geared for top speed (2.24 axle ratio) the Hammer was still capable of pulling close to 5 seconds 0-60. Eight seconds is slower than a stock 400E, and in 6-cylinder territory.

The 16-second 1/4 mile time is right up there with a good-running, bone-strock 300E!
