rear riding height

Hi to all,
I'm pretty sure that the rear riding height of my car is not as it should be.
Ground to wheelarch is 69,5cm.
I think the height control from the SLS might not work correctly as I detached the coupling rod and moved it up and down but this didn`t change anything to get it lower. The system brought it up very high but not lower as it is now.
Would it be a good idea to exchange the ride control pn 1243280031 or are there some other clues that I can try to get it to the correct riding height.

thanks in advance for your answers
Robert

Measure from wheel center to fender lip as shown below, not from the ground. Yours does look a tad high in the rear but not drastic.

Normal-ish numbers for a bone stock E500E are 13.75-14.25" up front, and ~14.50" in the rear with a full tank of gas.

Have you recently performed any rear subframe repairs? Maybe tightened the rear subframe parts while the car is high in the lift?
Are the rear springs original?

The only work I did, was replacing the spheres from the SLS. Springs seem to be original as they have factory marking dots, shocks are the right one's for the 500 (124 320 42 13)
There are however not that much components in relation of the riding heigh
