As far as I know, these are not available separately.

I've wondered about using very fine (1000 or 2000 grit) sand or emery paper to "sand" down the top of them to expose some red plastic, but honestly the faded color has never bothered me too much.

It is also possible to dye them.

A third option would be to use less-faded buttons from the back seat of a wrecking-yard car. These often see less sun....

Yes, p/n 1248606369 for the front driver seat, 1248606269 passenger side. MSRP $246 each.
The EPC with those part numbers shows the entire female buckle fastener assembly.

I think he was just asking about the red button. It is not available separately.

Holy crap given that it is a safety related item I am very surprised MB wants that much $$$ for these. I know I bought a replacement center buckle for the rear seat of my W210 recently and it was nowhere near that price. Anyways that really sucks because my intention was to replace all mine with new.

I'm definitely now going to have to try the Bimmer guy's idea (great find Gerry) except I am going to pull out the Dremel and polish the $hit out of those things with the compound.

Yeah no chance in hell MB would do that, way too much liability. The lawyers would have a field day with them the first time someone got hurt in an accident and their seatbelt failed
