FOR SALE Refurbished headlights for 500E/E500 (without lenses)

Oh excellent! Have you ever done a side-by-side comparison of light output between the re-plated/re-coated ones vs an original set? Are the both as bright and as clear in terms of light pattern/cutoff?

You mean to compare mine I offer with brand new headlights or used ones? I never though of it because at the moment I don't have enough room in the garage, everything is filled with headlights and parts for them. I can do comparison with used ones but each pair is different, some are extremely worn, others are not that bad. Each pair (I do many other headlights as well) I offer here or at any other place is tested before I put them for sale. The proper beam pattern is tested and verified because even slight misplacement of the bulb will disturb the beam pattern and it's easier to fix them on the moment than giving instructions to somebody 10 000km away from me :)

Great! One final check just in case - this Sept 29 set is optically great, and the inner light is the 500E aux high beam rather than the standard fog? If so I just may have to take these (and try to find 500E lenses).

@gtgoff, @simeon40 is an honest and standup guy. He is good for his word!
For what it is worth, you can find a set of lenses here for an, ahem, market correct 🤯, price.

-your neighbor, jlaa.

Hahaha yeahhhh, that’s 20% of the value of the car I might be buying 😂

Yes, the inner lights is aux high beam. Those in my post have two visible flaws which I showed. At the moment I don't have any other and I can't find any other in good/intact.

Take these lights, remove the cap over the fog lights, attach 036 lenses and call it good. The only thing missing will be the venting tubes which might cause fogging up once in a while and some corrosion in the long run. I have this setup since 2018 and it's been working perfectly with no corrosion so far. Note though that I purchased new Automotive Lighting pedestrian headlights back then instead of used headlights

Simon, just curious.
What would your price be for the bi led projectors above all in?
Thanks. Mike

The price varies by a lot of factors which are all optional for the client. The bare minimum with used reflectors (no shiny) and regular lenses without outer sanding and polishing, only internal one with NHK bi-led 3.0 inch projectors will be something around 700 USD.
Bi-Led cornering projectors can be installed as well. Check here mine on my car:

Simon,
That’s an incredible video.
What’s included for the complete package?
I’m driving the car not collecting it at this time. Theses light look awesome!
Appreciate your thoughts,
mike

What’s included for the complete package?
Restored reflectors including the low beams one will be 220 EUR (232USD)
Sanded and polished glass lenses outside to remove 99% of the stone chips so they can look as good as new - 200 EUR (211USD)
Chromed frames - 180 EUR (190USD)

Cornering Bi-Led projectors will be around 450 USD to adjust and install but I'll need to make one pair to be sure. Everything should be plug and play but we'll need to discuss some other things like what's your headlight pin, if I have any available and few other minor things.

Another pair available for sale.
