I got offered a reiserechner by someone , it seems to be a complete kit.

Is this very hard to install?

Depends how complete the kit is. Plan on quite a bit of work... if anything is missing, you could be in trouble. Don't forget the different console wood.

:banana2:

A reiserechner... I will get one of these in a Mercedes one day, I promised myself after seeing one for the first time back in 198x.

Has there even been a reiserechner ordered as an option in an E500 Limited? I've never seen them on that model... that would also mean that getting the appropriate wood console will be an enormous hassle if you don't want to cut some holes in your current one.

AFAIK it is no specific Reiserechner for the Limited, but they may be for specific model year & country?

Several Birds Eye Maple panels are NLA, and the remaining are extremely expensive. You better consider sending your shift console panel to Madera Concepts for modification; http://www.maderaconcepts.com/
