So our esteemed family member Herr Klink gets some positive PR from Mr. Ed Bolian, via Tavarish (late of Jalopnik) regarding the "2904" trans USA race a few years ago in which Ed's $1500 S Class broke the then-standing record for NY to LA, thanks to the magic laying on of hands by Klink.

I thought this was old news. We did the drive on November 1, 2015. FWIW, we actually arrived at the Portofino with the ET of 32:02, however, the "official" arrival time was set by when the timekeeper received the photo text message of our arrival at the gate, hence the official time of 32:05.
