How to protect our cars from being stolen when parking outside?

My city has an auto-theft problem and it got me wondering how easy 90s benzes, particularly R129, W124 and W140/C140 are to steal.
We aren't vulnerable to keyless car exploits, but do we have any major vulnerabilities?
How can we protect our cars from being stolen other than garaging them?
A few things I thought of were using a wheel club to dissuade an attempt and to pull some fuses like the fuel pump fuse and take them with you when parking outside.

A simple thing such as having the parking spot brightly lit will deter most thieves. The movement sensor ones work great. But as with most things if they really want your car they'll find a way to boost it unfortunately.

While a wheel club is not easy to cut through, the steering wheel is. 30 seconds or so, you can cut a wheel and slide the wheel club off. Thieves have known this for years.

A fuel pump cut off would be a good choice, especially if you can set it up with a remote to engage/disengage it, without meddling around in the fuse box under the hood.

I used to live in an apartment complex. A thief came through and busted out the windows on probably 20 cars in a row.

My 300d and 190e were the only ones left alone. Most thieves are stupid don’t know what they are looking at, they just think you are poor and drive an old car.

Thieves don't bust out windows unless they see something worth taking. The moral.....don't leave anything of value in sight.

Something like this is what I was thinking about in my previous post. You could use something like this to disabled the fuel pumps.
