CAR IS SOLD!!!

I am working on slimming down stuff I haven't had time to use as frequently as I like due to a life of travel with work and motorsports photography. The queen must go. I have owned this car since around 2003 and a gallery can be found at http://aeroknotics.com/500E.htm.

I replaced both distributor caps, was a Lifetime member on the now defunct 500ecstacy site (hope you have been enjoying my money Scott). The only thing this car may need is, the electronic throttle actuator gets a little finicky at times. Engine wiring harness was replaced by Bob Snodgrass, now sadly deceased co-owner of Brumos Motorcars. Car was completely gone through at Brumos including a paintjob funded by Glasurit for the car's inclusion at the Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance back in the early 2000s. They removed and replaced all glass when this car was painted. It is a show quality job as you can imagine to be featured in a paint manufacturer's booth. I have constantly run fuel injector cleaner in it, and kept fresh oil in it. That said, the car does sit on occasion as it is tucked away from the other in the corner. Pics in gallery include pics from a year or so ago. I did the Rainbow speaker upgrade back in 2011.

Car will likely be posted locally, and Brumos is also expressing interest in having the car back for their collection, so it may become unavailable via other means. Car is in greater Atlanta, GA area.

A lot of us paid Scott some $$$ (I did three different times that I remember) so I hear ya. I guess you can think of it all as "paying it forward" for the creation of this site, which has pretty much eclipsed Scott's in terms of the quality of info, layout and organization, and expertise that is here. We're within 600-700 members of where Scott's site was at when it went down. We don't charge anyone anything and don't have any plans to. Mostly a new generation of folks, underpinned with the old guard ("lifers") from 10+ years ago when Scott first put his site up.

Anyway, good luck with the sale ! New owner will be one lucky SOB.

Great looking car !!! I remember some of the photos from way way back, nice !

It looks to have some very interesting and custom touches ...

- The car was resprayed in Silver Arrow Silver
- Staggered 18" Front 19" Rear Renntech wheels
- Renntech Chip, Air box top and muffler
- Custom center console and shifter
- White face gauges
- Yellow painted brake calipers
- Custom sound system

Did I miss anything ?

The outside looks nice but not a fan of the interior mods, but that's just me. It looks like a nice car for the money.

LOL that's funny.... some people may not like that it was not repainted the original color so you might get bumped up in line a bit ?

I think it's a fair point.

The following is not directed toward any single person. But there are people who are very interested in this car, and who have the cash to buy it NOW. Yet they didn't respond in time, and the seller (nobly) is looking at interest in the order it comes in. That said, if you're not truly serious about the car, and ready to move quickly, then kindly remove yourself from the running, and let the seller evaluate offers from serious buyers with cash in hand.

C'mon now, it's worth much more than what you are asking for it.

I saw this car when Brumos had brought it up to LRP for a race weekend back in yikes, 2000 or so, it's really a stunner in person ! Nice to see you kept it that way too. 8-)

Folks, car is sold and going to a new home, and for me personally, I cannot think of a better person to take possession of it. Sad to see her go, but we enjoyed each other for 10 years.
