Anyone with a E500E going?

Its about an hour away for me...thinking of bring the CLK63 or a 211 E55 ( a friend's that I might buy) up for the auto-x and track but mebbe the 500E if anyone else is going (?) I'm sorry to say that most of the old guard around here with E500Es have moved on to other cars, I'm one of the last of the hold outs it seems.

The Thompson track is rally cool and historic....they pumped a few million into to bring it back up to speed. Not crazy about the casino venue tho, it's just not my bag....but it is a nice place to stay/hang with alot to do if that is your thing.

It is a 12 hour drive from NC, but would love to make it if I can get the days off.

Ernie Fancy, one of the organizers...has a green 500E, pretty sure he still has it and hope he brings it, but he is like a hundred years old and not a 'real' enthusiast of the .036 (IMO).

Jimbo, great idea! Barring any unforseen circumstances arising, I'm in.

(This also provides me a great opportunity to visit some old family friends near Voluntown before its too late).

we may make the run...up that a-way is my old haunt'ish..

In all likelihood we would prolly take something normal ie the 55 estate or 63..IDK.
