tabs and additional spaces don't appear in text

Hi.

I don't get the Tabs and additional spaces working in the text. Can that be changed?

-------------
This may occur in my case only, due to the "prison like PC conditions" here at work, but it does neither work at home on the Windows Vista. I still don't have any text/typing manipulation and smileys available. I am not complaining to you Gerry, I'm just telling the funtionality in my case. It works fine and I think I have most functions available, but I do in fact not know what I am missing and how the site actually is. :-)

You're right, Arnt. I assume it's default vBulleting behavior, because I can't find anything about it on the 'net.

Usually, if you want to use markup (but can't be bothered with making tables, etc), you should use [ code ] tags (place your text between [ code ] and [ / code ], without the spaces:
Code:
What exactly doesn't work, then?
I
	can
		tab
			all I want!

This also changes the font, allowing for proper spacing and alignment.

You're welcome :)

I didn't say (or intended to say) anything about font SIZE. Your text block was changed to a monotype font, which is why everything aligns properly.

Compare 5x"w" to 5x"i" in both settings:
wwwww
iiiii
Code:
wwwww
iiiii

As you can see, normally the "W" is much larger than the letter "i", but in code-mode they are the same, because of the Courier font.
