That was worth the effort...well done.

Did you use soap and water or something more sophisticated?

Jim.

Excellent work. The panels and seats look perfect.

Has the leather in the seat been replaced or has it been coloured using dye or paint?

The colour in the drivers seat of my own car has worn quite badly (the leather itself is still fine) and I'd be interested to know if the colour could be restored.

The door cards on my car are in good condition except where they have been scratched by long nails. Again it would be nice to be able to restore those as well.

well, thank you!

The seats has the original leather, it´s new coloured! I prefer to restore the original leather. I can mixing the right colour, that they fit to the rest of paint.

Yes, long nails and rings are the death of Limited-leather. They are missing the top coat.

Again it would be nice to be able to restore those as well.
Have you pics from your Interieur?

Hi,

I've attached some images of the interior of my car. As you can see it is the same colour as the original poster's interior!

The colour of the door cards and the rear seats is still quite strong. However you can see that the colour on the front seats has worn quite a bit. The drivers seat in particular has worn.

Hopefully the close-up of the door card shows the problem with the scratches. They were on the car when I bought it and I haven't tried anything to remove them or cover them over.

Is the process to repaint the leather difficult? Is it something that is possible on a DIY basis? Was it difficult to get a good colour match, or would it be necessary to do all at once?

Regards

Cavanman

hi Cavanman,
excuse, but my english is not the best.
It´s easy for me to repaint your Interieur like new. You know my pictures. But I must have your seats and doorpanels in my workshop here in germany, 40km east from Hamburg. The price for everything is between 1300 and 1600 Euro. The easyest way for you is, to rebuild everything.

Call me, if you have more questions.
Regards Uli
