Throttle kickdown switch

For reference, here is a photo of the throttle kickdown switch for the 500E/E500. This is a very easy item to replace if/when it goes bad. It sits directly underneath the gas pedal.

For dyno work, this switch MUST be disconnected (in addition to one of the ASR/ABS wheel sensors).

This part is #71 in the diagram below. The part number is # 002 545 22 14.

Note: For dyno runs, you can either disconnect this switch, OR unplug the single wire at the kickdown solenoid at the rear of the transmission. Either method works fine, for me the latter is easier.
