Troubleshooting: Engine MAX 5500 RPM

Hi,

If I give my car full GAS then the engine is jumping up and down between 5000 and 5500 RPM?
My tester is giving me the code: Pin #4 = Code 27: Injectors, open or short circuit.

I replaced my upper harness a month back, so I'm not sure if it's somehow related.

Can 1 out of 8 injectors cause this behavior? Or is it more in; it maybe a fuel problem?

Any suggestion is more than welcome!

In P or N, the EZL won't let it rev above 5000-5500rpm (approx).

Do you have the same problem in gear on the road?

:detective:

Oh I see; and it makes good sense, it's only in P, it works perfect on the road :tears_of_joy:

Still wonder if I should look more into the Code 27: Injectors, open or short circuit.
Replacing them is quite expensive, but I found a few Fuel Injector Service companies at eBay - are they any good?

If you clear LH code 27, does it keep coming back? If the engine is running well, I'd tend to ignore it. VERY unlikely to be a bad injector unless you get a misfire that is definitely not ignition related.

:seesaw:
