I have my driveshaft out to replace the e-brake cable that was damaged when the cat caught in fire 😳

My U joint is bad. I’m praying one of you guys might have a good spare for a 94’ 034

I’m located in Nor Cal.

Please have me save my 034 🙏🏻

Thanks
🙏🏻

Is the U-joint completely shot (damaged / burned), or does it just have that "notchy" feeling when you move the yoke back & forth in either direction?

:duck:

It locks in place in certain directions. I went to the driveline shop today to see about replacing the U joint and they said it’s not replaceable and yes it’s dead
Shoot. Well in that case you need a donor shaft from another 034/036. The joint can be replaced but it takes effort, some shops may not be willing to attempt it. Might want to look into a different repair shop, one that specializes in 2-piece driveshafts, if you can't locate a good used driveshaft.
