SOLD W124/W201 Rear View Mirror with Display Screen for use with a backup camera

First off, this mirror is NOT auto dimming. It has a two way anti glare glass with a color screen behind it. When off, the screen is not visible. This mirror is also new, so its never been installed in a vehicle before.

This mirror also has two AV inputs, so you could in theory feed a DVD input into one and your backup camera into the other. When you shift into reverse, the DVD display would switch to the backup camera display and when you shift into drive, the DVD screen would turn back on. If you don't use the second AV input, then your backup camera would only display when you shift into reverse and shut off when you shift out of reverse.

The button on the bottom of mirror allows you to adjust the brightness of screen display, from 0-50, it does nothing else. There is a green light directly to the right of the button and it lit when the backup camera is active.

The mirror is a simple two wire connection, ground and switched 12 volt power. There is no trigger wire for the backup camera. Your backup camera needs to be powered off of your reverse light 12volt, so it is only on when you shift into reverse.

You will need to modify your mounting plate in a similar fashion as shown in one of the pictures. You do not want the wiring harness pinched between the mirror bracket and the mounting plate.

Included with this mirror is the harness, installation tool and some installation accessories as shown in the picture. Easy install using the installation tool, power and ground can be located in your map light assembly and sunroof switch. Backup camera and associated wiring not included, but I am including some t-taps and spade connectors so you can tap into your reverse light and ground.

Letting this one go for $125 shipping included for US. International shipping would be $25 more. PayPal only.
