W211 E500 JAPANESE UNKNOWN MOBILE KIT

Hi, I've bought my 2004 MB E500 two monthes ago and I'm having a problem with the strange mobile Kit/Stand, I couldn't define the type of phone that suits it.

Also I'm having a problem with the Japanese display along with the the radio.

I live in Dubai, and the japanese language is not a choice for me

Your about 10 years ahead of everyone else on this forum. This forum deals specifically with the E500E manufactured from 1991 to 1995. Buy one of those and we'll get you all sorted out!

Quite, too modern for us here! A short answer is to change the phone cradle, and if it's a factory fitted one there already, you should be able to get one plug and play from the dealer that will fit a particular phone.

the cradle is likely for some older Motorola, so agreed, get rid of it.

As for the language..You can change that through your cluster BUT you have to be able to understand @ least a little bit of Japanese in order to work your way through the settings.. Is there a Japanese restaurant you frequent perhaps..??
