I thought that maybe someone on this forum might have a new or like new/excellent conditon Behr radiator that would fit my 1994 Red E320 Cabriolet.
The Car is Pristine with just over 9,000 original miles, and apparently we have discovered a metal weakness in the orginial unit. Anyhow, it should be replaced and not even attempted to be repaired.

Thanks, Gentlemen.

Jess, consider nissens brand as well. Should be available at the usual places online. I run one in my m117 with no issues when I replaced my water pump and decided to make it all new. Going on year 3, no issues with it.

I'm running a Nissens radiator on my E500 going on three years now with no problem. It is specific to the E500E though -- not the normal 320 models.

I agree that a Nissens would be OK to use, also a Behr or as a third option a factory unit. The Nissens and Behr units can be purchased online through AutohausAZ.com, and probably many other sources such as Partsgeek.com, RockAuto.com, Amazon.com, and other sources. Just be sure you're getting the correct unit for your car.

Fairly routine/easy thing to source.

Here's the AHAZ web page with the correct units for your car's year and model:

http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pr...=1994&cid=16@Cooling System&gid=2172@Radiator

I would also STRONGLY recommend replacing the upper and lower radiator hoses at the time you do this replacement, as well as the two transmission oil cooler lines up front. All of these hoses go bad with age, and if you've not done them, it's a perfect time to do it when the radiator is removed.

Here is the AHAZ link to the upper and lower radiator hoses. Note that these prices can be lowered even further if you were to order them through a discounter like MB Gainesville, MBoemparts.com, MB Asheville, or the like.

Cheers,
Gerry

EPC shows old p/n 124-500-90-03 supercedes to 124-500-24-02, which may roll back to the original 124-500-90-03. Looks like $492 list, ~$400 from the discounters, $340 at parts.com...

Is your dealer telling you the radiator is NLA or something? AHAZ appears to have aftermarket versions at the links in his post.

You need to drive that car more!!!

Regular coolant changes with G-05 should minimize future problems. New thermostat at this time wouldn't be bad. I would go Behr aftermarket if available.
