WANTED Washer Nozzle

Folks, looking for the drivers side windshield washer nozzle for my 94 E320, same part as E500E. Car was in the shop today for a transmission fluid change and when the tech shut the hood the head of the plastic nozzle broke off from the base. Part number---124 860 15 47 7126. NLA at dealer and NLA at MB Classic web site. EBay shows nothing.

If someone has a set I would take both left and right. They are different part numbers due to the spray pattern I guess.

Tks,

Peter Weissman

Peter, see if you can get the -7007 version (black color, not gray). That appears to still be available, and you can get both sides if you want them to match.

Dave, tks so much for the info. At the dealer today ( I work there part time ) they looked up the part and I was surprised to learn there was a color suffix number attached to the part. I assumed they were all black. Will definitely check back on Monday. I'd likely get a set since the right side may break at any time.

Regards,

Peter

Peter, I think the early 124 had gray, and the color changed to black possibly around 1990. And yes, replacing in pairs is a good idea. The plastic retaining tab often breaks during removal, or the schnozzle/barb may break when removing the hose. New ones should last a very long time!

:thumbsup2:

Dave, I should have looked at the parts catalog before stopping at the dealer ! I see the little paint brush icon next to the part indicating color options for the part. I guess it didn't dawn on the parts guy that another color would work.

Folks, washer nozzles ( right and left) in gray are indeed available. I ordered two- inventory in Germany. List is $95. I’ll probably end up paying ~$70.
Tks to Dave for pointing out the 2 color scheme.

Regards,
Peter
For those who need them, what is the part number that you ordered for these?

Thanks
Gerry

OK. I will enquire today when I go into MB of Annapolis.

Currently, the RevolutionParts sites are showing that both parts, 15-47 and 16-47, both supersede to same number with -7126 suffix, and both are NLA. RevParts will NOT accept same part number with a 7007 suffix.

Hence, I'll ask the parts manager to check numbers & stock in their "Parts-B-Gon" system when I go into MB Annapolis.

Update on availability:

part numbers 124-860-16-47 and 124-860-15-47 and 124-860-15-47-7126, no stock in US OR GERMANY

part numbers, 124-860-16-47-7126, 124-860-16-47-7007 and 124-860-15-47-7007 show stock in GERMANY.

okay and thanks
@Jlaa and @RicardoD — yet another pair of parts that you should get for your hoards. These won't be around & available forever.....

It appears all the RevParts dealers have removed the -7007 (Black) version from their websites. They only show -7126 (gray) and the right side is NLA.

MB Annapolis just informed me that they are working with RevParts to ADD the -7007 part numbers to their catalog, but they in the meantime confirmed that they can manually enter the part numbers into my shopping cart if needed.

I assume other RevParts dealers/vendors can also do the same thing (i.e. MB Laredo or MB Naperville).

Thanks Dave! Where there differences between the Coupe/Cabrio and the Limousine? In other words would 124-860-07-47 also work for our cars?
Good question! AFAICT the V124 (limo) uses the same squirters as saloon/estate.

However, the A124/C124 had unique part numbers - but I don't know the difference vs the saloon/estate/limo squirters:

Folks, My washer nozzles arrived today. That's 4 days from Germany...pretty darn quick I'd say. Color code on the parts label for both R & L is 7007 which indicates black. However both nozzles are definitely not black but dark gray! Go figure. Good for me cause my car is color 199.

I replaced the broken one tonight and will do the other side over the weekend so I have a matching set. 30 minute job. FYI the washer hose clamp is that special type that requires a unique tool to remove. Not in my tool box so I simply cut it off and used a similar size traditional clamp.

Dealer price for the left nozzle is $92, right side priced at $84. I paid $115 for both with my employee discount.

COO is Belarus.

Regards,

Peter

Any MB dealer can order them for you. Also there are several on line parts stores selling factory parts. Be aware the nozzle has a black and gray color code. Only 7007 is available which is black but I received one of each color. Not a big deal to me but if you’re very finicky you won’t be happy.

Regards,
Peter

Interesting to see that there are color coded variants.

I just installed a set of NOS nozzles sourced online with code 7126 on my 94’ but now I’m thinking to get the correct 7007 instead and stash the 7126. Although, 7126 version looks good on the car as is with fresh 199 paint.

Anyone have pics of the two “colors”, new, side by side?

Here’s the difference :

The left image ( gray ) old part #
The right part of image is (black) new 7007 part # that I just picked up from local Mercedes parts dept.

Cheers 🤙🏼

I'm sure you know this, but to clarify:

124-860-20-47 (right), gray color in photo below, is for coupés / cabrios (#19 is left side)

124-860-15-47 (left), black color in photo below, is for sedans / wagons (#16 is right side)

That is why the profile is different.
