What do we know about a diagnostic set called the LAUNCH X-431 TOOL?

We have this set in the pawn shop I work in and I see the correct adapter for my car. Anybody have experience with this system?

It won't do as much as the SDS but it might be decent for basic diagnostics. How much is it being sold for?

It should be able to read a lot of the systems in your car. I looked at that tool about 5-6 years ago but went with an Autel. They're chinese made but they OEM for Matco. For $200, it's a good deal.

Interesting. Looks like an older version compared to what they are selling today. I'd be half tempted to buy it just to play with on MB's and see how it compares. If you can try it out on your E420, let us know how it works...
