Can some of the e500e jedi weigh in on whether these new shoes will fit on our cars? Offsets being the potential problem...? Oh, and that they're the price of a kidney.

Appreciate any insight.

You do not want 20" wheels on the 036. Besides the ride, they will not look "correct" in the 036 fender opening.

That said, if the listed sizes are accurate:

9.5x20 ET25 front
10.0x20 ET55 rear

... you'll likely have rubbing issues up front, and need thick spacers in the rear.

If you are willing to spend FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS on wheels, for the sake of Pete, don't buy USED wheels with curb rash and wrong offsets! They're probably bent too (regardless of seller's claims).

You can get lightweight forged NEEZ or full custom forged HRE, for that money, in proper widths/offsets - brand new.

If I could figure out where/how to get Neez wheels, believe me I would. If there were sets of the AMGs 19 all around I'd consider...and yes, used prob not the way to go. Thnx GSXR.

NEEZ are not easy to obtain - have to deal with Japan. If you really want a set maybe contact @Jlaa, he may remember what the PO of his car (@jeff0093) had to do to get a set. I don't recall them being NLA, just expensive and a PITA to order/ship.

Custom HRE forged are worth looking into, IMO. I have a set of staggered 17" 3-pc that are simply gorgeous. And they can make whatever width/offset you want. Same with iForged, I have staggered 3-pc 18" of those. iForged shown below.

very nice!

Will 36-front and 56-rear offsets work with our car? 19" wheels (8.5 width front, 9.5 rear)

56mm offset on a 9.5" wheel at the rear seems too far inboard. You'd probably want to space that out 30mm.
Also 19" wheels are suboptimal for this chassis...... for my own tastes, 17" and 18" are the sweet spot.

Ditto what Jlaa said. Rears will require spacers at your stated offsets.

Beating the dead horse, I very strongly recommend NOT buying wheels that don't fit properly out of the box, unless you really really REALLY are in undying love for a particular style wheel that you simply can't live without. Otherwise, buy wheels that fit correctly.
