Has anyone ever looked into whether there is a version of these BMW CSL wheels that would fit the E500E?

I think those are the BBS CH-R and the closest you can get in a 5x112 is an 18" x 8.5" with ET38... CH-R

TireRack sells a knockoff TSW in closer sizing, 18" x 8.5" ET32... https://m.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=1885SEB325112SMF&wheelMake=TSW&wheelModel=Sebring&wheelFinish=Silver+Machined+w/Clearcoat&showRear=no&autoMake=Mercedes-Benz&autoModel=500E&autoYear=1992&autoModClar=

That's all I have on them, never really liked them even in E46M land. The OEM BMW CSL wheel has a different bolt pattern. MB's share bolt pattern with many Audi but not BMW.

No idea, but it would help if you could post the width, offset, and bolt pattern...

I agree, but the reason I didn't is I believe there are various sizes/versions from the little I've seen, which means I didn't want to limit the responses potentially to one size/version if there are indeed more than one. I'm still researching, but thought one or more on this forum may have already looked into this and could advise.

Thanks, Maw. I believe the BBS is a different wheel than I posted above. You refer to the BBS wheels below, which I find not bad but not as attractive as the BMW wheels, especially when the BBS could be pushed out a bit to better fill the wheel wells, in my view. I've also included a photo comparison of both wheels.

The TSW wheels to which you refer are not, I believe, all that similar to the BMW wheels (see below).

Speaking of the BMW wheels, don't some people use a hub spacer of some kind which allows the meshing of two different bolt patterns? I thought I'd read about or seen such a device. If so, is that advisable or no?
