• Hi Guest !

    Welcome to the 500Eboard forum.

Since its founding in late 2008, 500Eboard has become the leading resource on the Internet for all things related to the Mercedes-Benz 500E and E500. In recent years, we have also expanded to include the 400E and E420 models, which are directly related to the 500E/E500.

We invite you to browse and take advantage of the information and resources here on the site. If you find helpful information, please register for full membership, and you'll find even more resources available. Feel free to ask questions, and make liberal use of the "Search" function to find answers.

We hope you will become an active contributor to the community!

    Sincerely,
    500Eboard Management

Let's see where all the E500E's are in the world. This is purely optional but it would be great if owners would add themselves to this map:
https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=753787&location=United States

To add yourself, click on he 'Additions' tab, select 'Add marker - simple'
Use your screen name and zip code or city/state/country, description is optional, but you may choose to list your car by year, ie. '94 E500, etc. Click 'Submit'

Thanks for your participation! :cheers1:

its most interesting when you add your screen name, your real name and your car

Very good idea. It's interesting to see where the cars are located.

I wonder how many operational E500E's are left in the US?

This was Trae's idea...I just implemented it :-)

I think everybody should write year and color of 036 so that we can recall who is that. Personally I still do not know everybody by name but do know by car.

Wow, I created the map a little over 3 hours ago and we already have 31 cars on the map! Hopefully soon, we'll see some from outside the U.S.

I sent out a global e-mail to all registered members of this site with the link, to please place a pin on the map. Hopefully this will help drive some increased response.

I predict that we'll end up with most cars right of the Mississippi and left of Las Vegas, with just a few in the middle.

I love how szvook car is upside down lol

And all of Dave / GSXR cars

Description
1994 E500 - 744/278
1993 500E - 512/271
1992 500E - 702/275

Looks like the OC/Vegas (baby), and New England/NY. Perhaps we can get Keith Humphries to pay for a 500Eboard day at Lime Rock out of his pocket, take one for the team.

I'd be on in for Vegas. Give's me an excuse to visit my dear old ma.

Snapshot of North American/CONUS E500E distribution so far...

Starting to look like the North East and Southwest have the most 500Es.

Its interesting to see, I wonder how many more cars are out there than are not on the board.

I have seen at lease 3 others in San Diego / North County alone.

Gerry it would be cool to see a map of all of the cars in your data base.

Gerry sent an e-mail to everyone registered on this site, so I expect a pretty good turnout.

I guess no one in Germany owns an E500E. Sad, seeing as the bulk of production stayed in the Fatherland.

I've gotten more than a few replies from folks who have sold their cars some time back. Couple kindly asked to be removed.

I love how the map gives a visual representation of local owners.

+ 1

Its interesting to see ...

- Where my 2 past cars are living, both in L.A. area of So Ca
- Where other members live, maybe visit them when in the area
- Where the highest concentration of cars are, Ca looks to be a gold mine on nice rust free cars.
- Now its ez to why my past 3 cars where all out of No Ca, Bay Area

Looking forward to see how many show up on this map thru out the world

My car originally came from Southern California as well.

I know of at least four 500e's in my area, but none of those owners are on any of the forums.

Maybe we all can get some of the ones we know that are not on this board to at least join in on the mapping.

This is a fantastic tool.
Now, when I go overseas, I can connect with other members.

In the US, if a member sees a car in which he has an interest, he can easily look to see who might be nearby.
