Yesterday was not so good day for 036..

First one get smaked on parking lot close to Stockholm. After grandpa in his Kia crashed into 036 he was veeeeery sorry about his brand new Kia....
Second one is much less funny - friend just changed belt tensioner, OEM, not even 100 kilometers later tensioner started to squeak and dismantel itself. New parts are catastrophy....

Ouch! Sorry to see that, but it looks fixable, no?

When you say "OEM" belt tensioner, do you mean it was Genuine Mercedes from the dealership?

Is your friend 100% certain the tension wasn't set too tight? This can cause a new one to fail quickly. I hate the early manual tensioners.

1. Yes sure, will be fixed.
2. Yes, brand new OEM, friend knows what he is doing, engine builder by Porsche.....
3. Peral grey car i bought for a friend - ignition lock died after 6 years, was done at mb, even noticed in VIN.....Katastrophe....
