Companeros, if you have Coco floor mats in your car, please post pictures. If you have Lloyds or something else that is high quality, please post pictures too

I’ve had Lloyd’s in the past. They are better than the crap factory mats you get at the stealer nowadays.

but once you go Coco, you’ll never go back. I’ll post photos of the Cocos in all of my cars, later today.

Here is my C126 with the mats in black with grey dots

and the E500 black with Tan - the flash was on here but not on the C126 pictures

But if authentic, they would have a label sewn into the backside.

No labels, and while they seem of very high-quality, they certainly don't weigh 6 pounds. So I guess they are some other style of coco mats, not Coco Mats™ They also lack the rubber heel section on the driver's mat, which all Coco Mats seem to have. They are fitted to the W124 though, and are obviously not something you'd pick up at Crappy Tire.

I'd love to get myself a few sets of coco mats for w140s and w124s. But cant justify the cost when taking into account shipping to UK and import duties on top.

We are planning a holiday in SF next spring so all being well I'll mail order a set timed to arrive at the rental house and take at least 1x set home in my luggage :banana2:

The mats that you have are not anything what Cocomats makes. However, they ARE high-quality mats, and they are made of German / factory style material that you often see on European model 124 mats.

captruff actually some years back was selling trunk mats made for the .036 made out of that same material, which he was selling to forum members. I bought a black one, and it is in my trunk (on top of my stock trunk fabric floor cover) to this day. I'd keep the mats you have -- just clean 'em up well and they will be perfect!

Cocomats are a nice upgrade though -- once you get them you'll never go back !!

I second that. I made the mistake of ordering the fake "Authentic Coco-Style" mats or whatever they call them from Autosport catalogue thinking they were the real thing. When I received them I took a bunch of pics and sent them back, they were awful. Even smelled like Harbor Freight though the label said Mexico.

Here's a bad pic of the real ones... I can get better ones later if you're looking for specific details.

That's EXACTLY what my mats look like, same color interior on my car as well. Thanks for posting.

I love cocomats but the ones for my E500 didn't really turn out. I've had them since 2015 but they never really were gray. I ordered the gray with light gray dots. They look more beige, light beige now.

I think I want to try the checkerboard version and also share my photos with coconuts to ensure I get gray. Occasionally they mail out coupon discounts.

Interesting that you had this experience. I say that because I really wanted to order a set for my finnie, but they don't seem to have consistency as far as colors. If you go to the gallery and look at the "Natural white" color that they show in a 250SE (pictures 5 and 6), it's looks sort of greenish. If you look at the same color Natural White on their sample page, it looks very different, more tan or brown. I want the "greenish" color as my carpet is very similar to that of the 250SE they use as an example. If they are tan, it's a total mismatch with my carpet.

I called and spoke to them about this, and they recommended I order a sample of the material before ordering. I'm holding off for now.

I should probably do a sample first. All the other cocomats I have purchased for my wife, son, and father are all black with dots and they look beautiful in their cars.

Here is what they look like in my 635CSi. Great customer service. I asked them to modify the rubber padding to extend forward a couple of inches so my heel wouldn't catch on the leading edge. They did it free of charge.

Finally got my gray/black checkered Cocomats. They look 1000% better than my old one which were supposed to be gray with white dots.

Anybody want my old Cocomats? They might look good in a car with parchment interior I think. I just put up a for sale ad for them.

Here are the before and after shots.

Off topic, since these are in a Chevelle, but here's a set of checkerboard with a custom oversized heel pad. The process to order these was perfect. Great communication. Final product was exactly as I wanted.

I hope the Boss likes these more than the bad rubber mats typically found in classic American iron.

Anyone else have some pictures to share? Looking for recommendations on a good color Coco Mats for my E420 with the Mushroom/Parchment (light tan) interior

Might end up doing that. Was hoping to take advantage of the 15% off but might be worth waiting.
The next sale should be after Thanksgiving.

I have a bunch of tan/brown samples on hand for the Lexus I picked up. Went with the tried and true Coco #06. The brown field with tan dots is very forgiving on a match, IMO.

I wasn't too impressed with the new nylon material. Seems kinda cheap compared their other products, even thought it's a mid-priced option.

Here's the five samples I picked up, shown against a totally generic/neutral Toyota tan carpeting.

The new nylon product is second from the left. It's shiny and very thin.

Anybody else with Coco "Stripes" mats?

@Kyiv posted a picture of "Fern." I'm looking at the blue "Marina" option for my wife's daily, the interior of which is black with a healthy dose of more black. Some happier colors might lighten the mood just a bit.

Wondering if they hold up to daily abuse?

Definitely do a sample first. @RicardoD I actually think those beige ones are Beige, as in they sent you the wrong ones. The Black Checks look much better. I got samples before I ordered, and if what I get doesn't match the samples I'll send them back. Either way, I'll post pics.

I feel like the Black Wool with leather on the 500E is the thing to do (or maybe the checker). Anyone have wool set pics to share?

maw

EDIT... I got mine the other day... love the product, feels top notch all around... took a couple of quick snaps … I went a little wilder, gave a shot at matching the Chestnut wood to the orange in the CocoMats… I just spent a few hours delivering some football tickets to my son in Ann Arbor (about an hour each way) and tooling about campus… short answer is these are what mats are supposed to be… put the factory mats to shame.

The more time I spend with them the more I love them. I think these are some of the best money spent on the cars. They let you bring a custom design aesthetic to your car for relatively little money with zero execution risk. There’s preciously little of that going around.

I like the wool - to me it feels more luxurious.

Shades of gray.

First 2 pics are the same samples, just different lighting and different background.

#40 has a little bit of an earth tone, but not as much as shown in the picture (imo).

Also ordered a set for my SAAB, for which Coco has a pattern, but they didn't trust.
I've made a few patterns before, but nothing like this.
I'm really glad they didn't just roll with what they had. It was terrible.
Can't wait to see how they interpret the curves. The floor has more undulations than a roller coaster.
