I was considering putting a 17" amg monoblock, square set up on my 500e.
I want to run the rear 17" amg rims from the rear of a C36 on my 500e, hopefully with no spacers.

Anyone run this set up or know if it will work without spacers on the front rims?

Steve,
Refresh my memory, are the rear C36 wheels 8.5" wide with ET30? If so, a square setup will fit nicely on a 500E.

Yes Glen, you are correct. Nice to know they work. Means less cost for tires and a bit more comfort for the ride than 18" tires.

Plus, as read from one of your posts, its preferable to have a square set up.

Preferable depends on what you are after. I think a square setup gives better overall handling but stagger looks better. It's a trade-off.

You'll prolly want to run a 5mm spacer in the rear just to get it sitting Right. But that aside, the 8.5's all around should work Well:)

Let me know if you need an extra 8.5". I've got a set I want to break up so I can keep the front as a full size spare for my wagon.
