No affiliation. I think this has been for sale before. It's at a Euro repair shop (which seems odd they wouldn't finish it and sell higher $)

VIN: WDBEA34E7PB971617

Datacard:

1993 Mercedes 400E - low miles! - $3,500 (Edmonds)

For sale is a 1993 Mercedes 400E sedan with 105k miles. This is a V-8 w124 series and are becoming desirable young classic Mercedes. I consider this a good project car for a Mercedes enthusiast with some DIY skills. This car sat for a while and I have spent some time sorting most of the serious issues but still needs some attention. This car has not been thoroughly cleaned or detailed, just washed and interior wiped down. This car has excellent potential to be a great addition for any Mercedes enthusiast/collector. I just don't have time for another project so I'm letting this go for someone else to complete. Car runs and drives but needs a complete tune-up and other services to be up-to-date.. That said, with some work it will be a wonderful rare V-8 w124. This car is very similar to the famous 500E which shares many parts etc. Here are the particulars:
1993 400E
105k miles
Clean title in hand and clean carfax
recent engine wiring harness updated
recent front brakes
leather interior
M119 4.2 ltr V-8
28 mpg (highway) <-- ROTFL!!
275hp
top speed 155mph
car should be towed or trailered home
$3500
Feel free to contact me by clicking the above "reply" tab to make an appointment to see this Mercedes.
Car is located in Edmonds, WA at Sonderklasse Motors a small classic Mercedes restoration shop/broker. www.sonderklasse.us
If you see this ad the car is still available. I will not respond to inquiries asking "is this still available"
Thanks for looking!

Seems really odd... no details about what's wrong with it.
Thats an easy one. It's at a Mercedes restoration shop and you need to tow it home. Probably 10k minimum to get everything fixed and running properly.

I would like to know what the restoration shop quoted the owner.
