Over the years that I have owned this wonderful car since taking delivery of it in April of 2021, I have documented everything undertaken prior to my ownership (with various links) as well as a considerable amount of maintenance, modifications, and experiences during my ownership, which can be found at my thread in the Owners & Their Cars section via this link:


There, anyone will be able to see the 100's of photographs posted over the years along with an informative backstory as to why I got this car, the mindset for the different, additional modifications that were completed, and anything else that would be related to this 036. At all times over the years, this forum has showed both the car and myself the respect to not populate the thread with subjective criticism of it, knowing full well that this car is not for everyone. Many out there appreciate some of the modifications (and costs) done to make this car look like how either Mercedes-Benz and/or Porsche would have released a special, motorsports themed version of the 500e, which was my ultimate goal.

As mentioned in the last post a few months ago, the time has come for me to have someone else enjoy the car for many more years... Since I am aversive to individuals whose form of entertainment (or habit) is to downgrade other people's cars, I have entrusted the sale of this 500e to Mayor Cars, and now the car is on eBay:

The purpose behind this post is to have someone, who may not be a forum member, be able to find information about it which would allow them to decide if this car may be the one for them. I hope this forum continues showing the world that everyone who is a E500E enthusiast is accepted and welcomed, since there is a good likelihood that the next caretaker of this 500e will become a member. If anyone is considering wanting to own this car, I am happy to answer any questions via dm although the link on my ownership thread is rather informative. I am also considering offers if you want to own this rad 500e but prefer any negotiations be kept in private 😎.
 
The next owner of this 500e will benefit from it having been lovingly labored upon for many years - even before I purchased it - and, a significant factor as to why I rated this one above the others…

All of these cars are 32+ years old and age is evident on the overwhelming majority of the vehicles up and running these days, without a doubt. Many owners bought theirs from previous owners (and previous owners before them) who could not afford the maintenance, who only want(ed) to keep their cars original because that apparently may be important to some, did not drive the cars for a variety of reasons, and/or drove their cars year round in snow.

This car, however, inasmuch as it has been liberally modified - no corners have been cut, no expenses have been spared, and will run faultlessly for many more tens of thousands of miles with no excuses. There are no bloated claims of monies allegedly spent, services supposedly undertaken, inconsistent/high mileage, or unknown information about this 036. I am absolutely certain that sellers of the 500e’s also for sale are easily able to make these claims, am I right?

The car will sell to its next owner, who will undoubtedly be a very happy and fortunate individual, so I look forward to hearing from you 😎!
