Wow! From NewPorsche Beach. I’ve never seen it. It looks nice in the pics. Well detailed. Carfax says it’s been owned in Texas, California, Washington State & California? If it’s a 1 Owner he/she sure moved a lot.

Signal Red, especially as it is not a two-tone color as applied to the w124, is hard to make look good. The wheels easily get lost in the bodywork and the camera angle exacerbates that effect if the camera is placed at human adult eye level. It takes careful consideration to make a Signal Red E500E not look like there is too much red ... my opinion.

As well, for starters (and by the way the starter motor could use replacement) I wonder why the instrument cluster is pulled 1/2 way out.

Anyways I hope the seller, David Wood, finds this thread. This car could be a really nice if someone put the effort required in to make it nice.... hope someone restores it!

Hello 500e enthusiasts

Yes feel free to reach out on my signal red 500e. It was delivered new to my mother at Star Motors in Houston Texas. My father is a collector with over 40 vehicles and in house mechanic I then purchased and brought to Newport Beach in 2004. It was used by my brother in Washington state from 2013 to 2022. He is a certified Ferrari mechanic and runs an engine lab. It's now back in Newport and looking for a new home
