More pics: / higher resolution. This car spent most of its life in CA and FL, but was totaled in KY.

Thanks @benzgarden for documenting this! Any idea who may have bought it? Looks like a HARD hit... not worth repairing.

The exhaust and tunk badge could be the only RENNtech items. Steering wheel is an aftermarket wood item of some sort (maybe RT, maybe not). No way to tell if it's a 6L without underhood photos (and, ideally, measuring the engine stroke). Some buyer might have gotten lucky, assuming the engine block wasn't damaged in the accident.

This was my car. Still dealing with personal injury lawyers so didn't want to post much about it. The short of it is someone made a left turn across a divided highway without looking at all. I had less than a second to react. It was a brutal hit, and it broke my right hand in 2 places but it protected me well. Still really sad over it. There was almost nothing usable left on the car. it is absolutely destroyed. I cant believe they issued a salvage title, the car is absolutely not rebuildable, the entire chassis twisted. you can tell by the trunk gaps in the rear. the front end is pushed over to the right about a foot also.

YIKES! Glad you are (mostly) OK. Very sorry to hear of your loss. Amazing someone paid $13k+ for the carcass. I assume this was a 5.0L engine with some RT goodies added like the muffler?

Yessir, just a 5.0. It had the exhaust (obviously), sway bar, and carbon airbox. Used to be IBNR's car. Thankfully I still have the RT first gear start valve body as it never made it into the new transmission I had just put into it.

13k is nuts, whoever bought it is in for a rude awakening when they see the real condition. the seat frames twisted, the doors on the passenger side dont even open and shut properly. apart from the exhaust I don't think any valuable parts survived
