Neat car. I'm not crazy about the wrong side skirts though, nor the wheels, but those are easy to change. The side skirts are Gen "zero", not Gen 1. They should be Gen 2 for a facelift car. Gen 0 is for MOPF0 / up through 1989 without the Sacco panels. Gen 1 is for MOPF1, 1990-1993 USA model years (pre-facelift)... Gen 2 is for MOPF2 / facelift.

Headliner is off-color, guessing it was replaced and the fabric was not a good match to the original. All rubber/foam trims on the hood leading edge are MIA indicating a possible replacement hood.

EDIT - as 2phast noted below, the decals are missing from the upper radiator support, indicating a substantial front-end accident in the past. That also explains the hood issues (missing all trim pieces).

Now it needs a full Sportline suspension package!

Missing the EPA yellow decal, wrong decal in the location. Repaint and/or replacement radiator support could indicate previous accident.

I’m w/ @gsxr on the wheels. I think they would look much better in silver. The car looks appealing to the eye and is a partial E36. It’s been around the block a few times w/ 7 Owners.

Very cool car. I wonder how they set up the C36 ECU with the w124 e320. If its the stock e320 ECU, sadly, the car won't feel anything like a C36's zippy quick acceleration.

How long has the car been registered in TX? When I got mine, the owner had multiple 034 036 and wagons all in 249 malachite green metallic. (have you noticed all the new colors that match 249 on the road lately..) My stock fenders wound up on the wagon and the 036 versions got the sportline treatment and de-badged with the read lid having a painted on star. The owner was believed aged out working and had to go back to Norway (rumor was as such - I dont know but his garage had several hammer clones, wagon clones and everything was dumbed down in appearance if it was an actual 036.) Anyway they all were 249, same interior customization (steinway black wood and black leather on seat-middles and the door inserts.
