I guess the flare on the back was to accommodate the rear wheels?

There is a W210 RENNtech E60 RS for sale in San Francisco with red/gray/black interior, but no W210 AMG E60 that I'm aware of.There is/was another one of these cars for sale in San Fran recently, no where near as nice as the OPs tho...it had a red interior (really quite bad IMO) .
Anyone see it? I deleted the link to it someone sent me.
Those assumptions are probably as good as it is going to get (given the information), unless we have some actualy build numbers or see one for sale with a later build date.

I understand that all E60s started out as an E50. My E60 comes up as an E50 as well.

According to the EPC the diff ratio in this car is 3.06:1 / HWA 210 350 02 14 - that with the 5 speed and 6 litre up front should equal quite impressive off the line performance.

Wow. Just when you thought you've seen everything!
Fudge, was this a "Japan Limited"? I never heard of any official factory W210 Limiteds from Germany.
Yes it is Dave. Built by AMG Japan. I have actually seen more of these models than I have of E60's from Germany.gsxr said:Wow. Just when you thought you've seen everything!

It can be done, with some part swapping... need all four camshaft sprockets, front head covers, valve covers, distributors, plug wires, ETA, MAF from the 500E (or any donor M119.97x engine). And of course, the LH module for 6.0L engine. Might need some other little stuff I'm forgetting.Gentlemen, what's the reality of transplanting this engine into my 500E

I am but only for an offerAuction ended RNM at $15k. The less-than-stellar condition probably didn't help, neither did a Saturday auction close, nor Canada location.
Anyone in touch with the seller to find out what reserve was?
Yep, I can supply the 6.0L AMG LH module for anyone who does a 6L conversion. The LH module too? Hmmm...
