I’m fortunate that the PO of my car had the $$$ rotors replaced just prior to my ownership, so I shan’t have to worry about that for quite a while. Tires, too, were replaced with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s with 2022 date codes. Oilpan was removed and re-sealed weeks before I took over the ownership.
Three reasons why I didn’t mind paying $32.5K, because a lot had been done and it was an “open checkbook” car with Mercedes-Benz of Owings Mills (MD) since early 2009.
Despite having a local dealership here in Annapolis, I’m taking it to Owings Mills (45 mins away) for some service next month — an open service campaign to check the sunroof bonding, and I’m just going to have them change the transmission fluid in the box and torque converter, as it is original. All other fluids save the rear differential were done last summer. This is because they have known the car for the past ~15 years.
