A 003 989 98 20 10 Sealant on Cam Solenoid?

Can this be used on the cam solenoids? Not exactly the same as the anaerobic orange(LOC574) but a surface sealant.
In my haze this morning I went as far as taking everything apart and then realized the vendor sent me the wrong tube.

I would NOT use this black sealant (allegedly Loctite 5900, similar to Right Stuff) because it acts like adhesive. It may make it very difficult to remove the cam solenoid in the future. On one of my engines a PO used RTV and I almost broke the solenoid or head cover trying to separate the two!!

Thanks Dave.
What exactly is it used for? They aren’t requiring a return, especially since it’s been opened. All I can find is enforcing surface mating.

This black super-goop is used in many other applications, for example the rear main seal carrier to block, or upper oil pan to block. But it has a relatively short shelf life. Once past the expiration date, it will still work, but may take 2-3 weeks to cure instead of <24 hours as it should when fresh.
