A quick FYI for all --
As you know, the 722.3 transmissions have two drain plugs -- one for the torque converter, and one for the transmission oil-pan.
Both plugs are the same part number -- MB part number 000000 000884.
However, MB has two different washers specified for the drain plugs. For the torque converter drain plug, an aluminum crush washer, part number 007603 010100. And for the transmission oil-pan drain plug, a copper crush washer, part number 007603 010112.
Both types of washer are soft "crush" type washers, but of different materials. I believe they may be interchangeable, but I did want to highlight that according to the EPC/ISPPI, these washers are of different materials and part numbers. It's generally advisable NOT to re-use these crush washers, although you can in a pinch. Given that they tend to run $0.03-0.10 apiece, it's a good idea to stock up on a few (and perhaps an extra drain plug or two) for future transmission oil changes.
Below are images of the items discussed here.
