Sorry I don't know much about engines and don't own a E500 (at least not yet), but getting a bit desperate here.

I'm, looking for a part A1190500116 for my r129 500sl m119.620 M119.960

It's been proven very difficult to find. I'd be happy to buy even a complete set, but no luck so far.

Does anyone know if this part is interchangeable with a part A1190500416 from more recent M119 engine?

Any help appreciated, thanks :)

Nope, it is not interchangeable. Different shape / length.

How bad is your old one?

Thank you for your reply gsrx.
I have not actually seen it yet, but they told from service that it needs to be replaced.
But now after two weeks of searching, I guess it's time to check the piece itself. Can these be restored?

Thank you for your kind replies.
I visited the garage today and had a chat with service person.
The current part still works, but would have been worthwhile to replace with new one now that the engine has been pulled out. But with second hand part, there's no guarantee we end up in better situation.
€/$100 for used part would've fit my budget well (actually had reserved 400e for new part) in case the current part was in any worse condition

If the existing one is serviceable, leave it alone. This is not a high-wear item.
