aftermarket bucket seats

Hello. I found a 1979 merceded Benz w116 6.9 with what looks like amg bucket seat. I was wondering how much they are worth And will they fir my 500e.

They might be a Recaro Classic Seats. Worth $2000, and yes they fit All W124 with the specified seat consoles which are sold separately

Is it a straight bolt on or do I need to buy a certain bracket. And is it $2000 a price or for the pair And do anybody have them installed in there car.

There you go, Recaro C seats. You need the W124 brackets to install in a 500e though.

The Recaros are probably worth around $1k or so? Can't quite tell if they are heated or not, also depends if everything works. Looks like they need to be refinished as well (dye job). Cool find if you can get them at a decent price. Dunno if I'd put them in a 500E unless they were heated and refinished though. Finding the 124 bracket could be difficult as well.

Steering wheel looks like junk to me, plus no airbag. Not sure if it's worth anything and I wouldn't be caught dead with that in a 500E...!

ya i forgot to say they look alot better in person. and all of the functions do work on both the seats.

the car is still for sale i just wanna buy it for sale ill offer him $1500 for the car. the 6.9 is a beautiful piece of machinery i seems like the body is rust free and the engine needs some work but nothin major. it might be a good project to have to learn. but well see how it going. does the e500e suspension ever sag like the w116 6.9 suspension sag if its been sitting for a while

About the engine of the 6.9 : they can be very pricey to restore, so be carefull...
