Hi all - my 500E needs either the base module rebuilt or need to buy a working base module. Would be interested in any leads on this front. I live in CA.

The problem mine is having is that its pulsing power to the fuel pump at low revs. The repair shop I have it in with is doing a workaround but would love to get a full working one

Your repair shop is incorrect or misinformed. Pulsing power to the fuel pump (audible clicking fuel pump relay) below the rear seat is caused by a failing capacitors inside the LH module. NOT the BM / Base Module. You can either replace or repair the LH module to fix this.

Thank you...will chat with them about it! I don't think they were looking at the LH module

Thanks for reply. This is a new department for me: are LH modules (I think this is the fuel injector computer, right?) available or is it all second hand through this community?

LH module is indeed the fuel injection computer. These are NLA new (and, were silly priced when available) but there are plenty available used.

Or, send your existing LH module to Alphasud at the link back in post #2 for repair.

:shocking:
