WANTED Becker 1432 face plate or entire radio

My Becker 1432 in the console is starting to act up. I have another complete unit but the volume on the face plate is defective. So, like the title say, I am looking for either just a good face plate to replace the one I have with the defective volume button, or an entire unit (radio+cassette player) that is operational. Either way the most important thing is that the VOLUME, SEEK and SCAN buttons must not be flimsy (a sign that have their internal pivot brackets are broken). I do not care if you have the code or not.

I did a faceplate swap with Becker on my 1993 400E two years ago and it was around $125, if I recall.

Talk to Tom or Ed. They both come across as being rather gruff, but it's just a northern New Jersey thing. They're both really nice guys and very supportive of the Mercedes community.

Yes, they do. Again, don't quote me on the price, but I believe it was around $100-$125 exchange. They'll want your old faceplate back. It's nice because you get a rebuilt one with freshened lights, buttons, etc. and it just takes a couple of minutes to swap out.

Again, Tom and Ed are really great guys and always helpful. Ed especially comes across as sort of a curmudgeon, but he's a nice guy.

In my case: ZERO fun (the car came wired with 1432 from the factory, which is why I prefer to keep the 1432 setup).
