Katie's starts stupid, insanely early...6am to get a spot in the front, 7am lot is full early, but they have illy coffee and delicious egg burritos, along with cars so rare, you haven't even read about them Great times, wonderful nice people. Address is here:

Kohl's on Sunday is a bit later. Starts around 8am- gets into full swing around 9ish. Proper Petrol/Gear heads. Starbucks is you coffee source. Their is a huge kohl's and sporting goods store if your other family members don't want to stand in a parking lot looking at cars address is here:

The C&C at Katie's is fun but something I prefer to do only on occasion. The C&C at Kohl's is a bit more my speed...a little more laid back, no parking issues, and a later start time. I plan to be there tomorrow at around 8-ish.

Yep, it sure is. Now belongs to Aaron (biohound72) who I just had the pleasure of meeting this morning. His car is in excellent condition, both inside and out!

I can think of ten E500Es in the immediate DC area (one of which is totaled) and then several more that are within one or two hours drive from DC. Pretty cool.

That was my first C&C, I enjoyed the hell out of it....just liked the variety of cars, American muscle, Japanese, European, etc. Will definitely go again. Good meeting you guys.

Okay. So it has been over a year since the local E500E owners got together. A year ago, I was not an owner except for my 2.3-16V. I'd like to propose a get together at Coffee & Cars in Great Falls on 22 November.

It would be great to meet all of you, look at each other's cars, and get some tips/advice.

If you can commit to 22 November, I'll reserve the number of slots so we can line all of our E500Es up next to one another. Cars start coming in around 6A so be prepared to be there no later than 6:30A!

This area is lucky to have a collection of pretty rare 036s including a teal green, nautical blue and euro-spec grey-market example. It is not as bad as you think - the September events were a year ago! ;-)

Greg, don't get too excited about the new paint. I still have lots to do like putting in the new e-code lights and a bunch of trim upgrades. I decided to delete the wipers for now as I don't have the time or money to find the parts necessary. In any case, it will nice to see everyone again!

Terry - glad you mentioned the other C&C at Kohl's on Sundays. I actually prefer it because the combination of a later start time and plentiful parking just make it more relaxing and enjoyable. What Sundays in November would work for you (will definitely need to keep an eye on the weather as we move closer to December)? And, what about the rest of you (mentioned in post #14 above)?

With a bit of notice, most Sundays aren't an issue for me, though I realize that Sunday may be unsuitable for some folks. I would defer to whatever date suits the majority of the DC/NoVA contingent. Realistically speaking, if a Sunday get together works for folks, its probably going to have to be either of 11/9, 11/16, or 11/23. Of course the 23rd is the day after Robert's original suggestion. After that, the holidays will probably push a GTG until 2015.

A Saturday afternoon might work for me. How about the 22nd? May also want to consider a location in the Tysons Corner area (convenient since you have 66, beltway and toll road all linking up there).
