Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) 2021 Deal Thread

Milwaukee combo kit, ratchet + impact wrench for $200 at Home Deepo: Milwaukee M18/M12 12/18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8 in. Ratchet and 1/2 in. Impact Wrench with Friction Ring Combo Kit-2663-22RH - The Home Depot

The impact wrench isn't the "Fuel" (brushless motor) series but is pretty strong at a claimed 640 ft/lbs of breakaway torque.

I also really like this Ryobi inflator: RYOBI ONE+ 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless High Pressure Inflator with Digital Gauge (Tool Only)-P737D - The Home Depot

I've been using it for over a year with a Makita LXT to Ryobi battery adapter and no issues so far.

most of the black friday had been active for the past few days....nothing stuck out except for some stuff on milwaukee and ridgid vacuum cleaners...

Having invested in Milwaukee M12 system, I recently purchased their vacuum and its is great for use around the garage/house instead of lugging around the big shop vac.

I know I will likely get stoned for this, but maybe we should all buy a little less stuff and give the supply chain and planet a break.
If something is for sale and you want it, why not buy it? If you don’t someone else will. It’s still going out the door like it or not.

If it’s still offshore outside of the LA or Long Beach Harbors it won’t be on the shelf anyway. An average of around 100 ships are anchored from San Pedro to Huntington Beach (25 to 30 miles) every day. So far JB’s working 24/7 is not working.

Just Saying

It's not so much a supply chain shortage as it is a worker shortage. Throw people on unemployment, give them an extra $600/week and tell them they don't need to pay rent.....what could possibly happen?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I am grateful all of us here are still alive and can banter back and forth. Too many people have moved on to the great palace in the sky over the past 18 months …… everyone cherish the days we still have on this earth! :hugs:

I'm quite proud of myself... Not only I didn't purchase anything from any store (VB from classified does not count lol), but actually got $170 back from Best Buy!

I had to replace my laptop, got the new unit on 10/28, under 30 days ago. I see their ad today shows the same laptop on sale, so I stopped by the store, they tried to say:

"Well, it's black Friday special, we do not match the prices for the next 3 days..."

So I politely asked

"Considering it's been under 30 days, would you like me to place an order for the one, at the current sale price, return the old one... You now will have to spend time to run it through your Geek Squad dept to restore to factory settings, and you will then have additional open box item? Or you can just price match to your own ad, refund me $170 and we both happy?"

I have $170 credit back to my account :jono:

NOCO boosters are on sale for Cyber Monday. Deets here:
