Don't know if anyone else is pursuing this settlement, but I can say that my confidence in the process is weak, at best.

I submitted all forms and supporting docs during the first week of April. Upon submission, there was a flash on my laptop screen which confirmed my submission but no email. Two weeks later, I contacted the administrator by email and was told to wait another two to three weeks for confirmation. It's now Mid May and they still don't have any record of my submission.

To say this is a shaky process, would be putting it mildly. The claim window closes on July 12. The FTP website felt like it was designed circa 2007. And the communications have been obtuse. Considering this is a $1,500,000,000 affair, I would have expected a bit better process than when I'm trying to get a $2.00 rebate on some batteries, or something. Eesh.

I'm a previous owner, so it's straight gravy for me.

I'm always leery of these "fixes."

My '08 Tundra went in for a floor mat/unintended acceleration recall and it was returned to me with half the damn gas pedal lopped off. Had to change my seating position just to get good foot contact.

Do you have a good POC at the Sprinter dealer who can explain the fix? I'm kinda gathering that some models aren't sorted out yet in terms what what's going to be done to them.

I have some friends that work at the dealer and two weeks ago when I asked they said they didn’t know what was going to happen. I’ll ask again when I pick up parts in a couple days and post what I find out

Three months since I submitted my claim (4/4/2021) and the administrator STILL hasn't reviewed my documentation.

I contacted them today and was told that if my claim is incomplete I may be given additional time to submit.

Fucking ridiculous.
