Most newer cars come with factory equipped cargo tie-downs or lashing points that mount to the trunk floor. Unfortunately, the W124 sedan didn't come with any, and I wasn't looking to drill holes in the trunk. I found a cheap cargo tie-down hook solution that can be fitted behind the central 13mm bumper nuts. After installation, the hooks protrude just enough to be useful, but not so much to get in the way.
