Hi

Anyone in the forum doing that?
Some “how to do” wold be grateful.
The new one Nr: A1295450014

Best Regards
Niklas

A1295450014 is the electrical switch for "B" position (1st gear) in the shifter assembly. Is this what you are talking about?

I've never done this, maybe someone else has tips.

Hi
Yes, this is the sensor we should shift.
The local mb “experts” mechanic tell me to shift this one, because it also indicated for position P and N. If/when this one broke,
the car doesn’t will start.
If the sensor stops working, it does not give an indication for position P lr N and the car cannot be started…

You are describing the starter lockout / neutral safety switch (NSS). This is completely different and located on the transmission, NOT the shifter/console area.

Part number for the NSS is 000-545-62-06, NLA from the dealer, but available aftermarket for ~$100 USD.

HOW-TO with more info at link below:

You may want to finds new MB "experts"... :yayo: :wormhole:
