Checking transmission fluid.

I forgot, do I check the transmission fluid when the engine running?.. or when the engine is turned off?
I know I check it when it's warm, but I forgot if it's ir it's on or off.

It's only low because I had to replace both trans cooler rubber hoses.

The good news is the car only has one leak left.... The damn washer fluid bottle!! Arrgg!
I replaced both bottle rubber gaskets and it still leaks!

I'm thinking the motor leaks now not the actual hose.

But no oil leaks anywhere! And I'm pretty proud of that because it was bad!

Yep... the washer pump motors start to leak. Many a rubber grommet has been replaced followed by contributions to the swear jar afterwards. If you have a Mityvac that can produce pressure, you can test the pumps, as leaky ones won't hold pressure if you pump up one port while blocking the other.

No oil leaks is definitely a win though!

:gor-gor:

My 92' has a small leak from the selector shaft seal. (If that is what it is called.)
