I dont actually have a 500E I dont even have a pedestrian W124
I came accross the board and this mine of usefull information and help by chance
when I was looking for some information about M119 engines and just stayed
I have an early (90) R129 500SL with 40 000 miles a 95 C140 and one and a half
( if you count the parts hoard ) 1990 560 SEC
My favorite is the C126 the C140 is a nice car but has a lot of complexity electrical
and mechanical that I could live without
I wanted a SEC for a long time and have had this one for over 25 years I hope to
keep it for ever so try to buy NOS genuine parts when they come up just in case
