I was detailing my 95 E420 today. I’ve been unable to clean up their chrome trim where it tucks under the bodywork. It has kind of ochre
discoloration to it. I’ve tried Simple Green, Dawn, IPA, Krud Kutter,elbow grease and nothing seems to phase it! The car had sat out in the elements for a couple of years under some Northwest Firs and cedars before I rescued it about 15 years ago.
I’ve yet to try tar remover, any suggestions on how to proceed? It’s nor really noticeable but it bugs me.

Some Wenol and a little elbow grease combined and it’s almost like new!
