Hi,
since I cant really find clear information about this I wanted to ask you guys…when wood is being restored what coating is used to get close to factory finish? Currently I am doing Zebrano wood on my T Model MB road assistance vehicle, I did test piece with car lacquer and it is “too clear” and brings out too many “imperfections” on wood compared to original which is somewhat dull, I have NOS piece for comparison.
Current wood trim is tinted and pretty much ready for coating. (Original veneer)
