Coupe Air Filter

Hello I have a 1992 w124 500e and i was wondering where the coupe air filter is located because I cant seem to find it. I also wonder if these filter are the only ones that is protecting dust from coming inside the car and if there is a part number for them because my mercedes dealership can't find the part in their systems.

Those are aftermarket filters, and yes they are the only ones filtering dust from entering the car. These are NOT factory items.

The factory dust filter is in a different location and was standard equipment on facelift models (E320, E420, E500, etc), as of approximately May 1993 production. Your 1992 does not have factory dust filters.

Okay thanks for the info do you have a picture of how it looks stock because I want to remove the parts that is not stock.
